BCT Letters and Little Notes

I have followed a fellow blogger for about a year now and she posts the most amazing stories of Letters and Notes.

I am so happy tht my husband has seen how this touches my heart and has done the same during this time away.

My soldier has been using my kids to place notes all around the house and I just received my first letter while he's been gone!

He mailed it before he even flew out while he was at MEP'S. Not usre what MEP'S stands for yet but I am sure I will learn!

Do you blog about all the treasured moments your soldier leaves for you?

So Much Fun and So Much Money

I absolutely love this Arbonne product and being able to make money while enjoying what I am doing. At my party yesterday I made nearly $100! Not only that but I have two more parties scheduled for this week, one next week, and one in May just from one party. I didn't even put that much time into it, three hours tops!

I couldn't be happier! Starting this business was a huge leap for me. I was not ready for such a big plunge into the unknown. I just learned that two people at the party want to be consultants. One was because of the amount her and her family is using. Things couldn't be better. I wasn't going to build my own website but after my husband seen what kind of money is being made and many people asking for our site he wouldn't not let me.

I put in my notice to be home with my kids starting the first of June and plan on going to Oregon for the month of June while my soldier is away at BCT. He is so exciting to see how much it has grown when he gets back. This has went so much further than either of us expected. I am so glad to have made that step. I just wanted to share my little bit of cloud 9 with all of you!

Two Week Vacation

Loving life always but especially so since my oldest showed up from Oregon for two weeks! My youngest has a motorcycle so we spent the majority of our time riding the bike around. It was sos great to get to spend much needed time with him. My oldest turned 18 in January and graduates this summer. He is in hope of joining the Air Force shortly after that. It is nice to have him here and be able to sit and talk with him.

My son enjoys being outside and in the middle of nature. He is just like his mom in this aspect of things. I raised them to always be out searching for wildlife and in the midst of natural surroundings. My middle child, my daughter, Bre is in love with photography. She is desiring to be a wildlife photographer when she is an adult. We spent the time with the whole family very wisely and just hung out together all the time. I love you William and enjoy your trip backt o Oregon. See you in June!

Oh, and my friend is wirting a book and you can find his blog here. So please stop by and pay him a little love and encouragement. Life has been very rough on him and he needs much support as we all do!

How do you spend vacations?

Messages

I know for some of my readers you may have a difficult time with this post because it is about God and listening to him. The beauty of his sweet voice whispering pounding into our ears heads.
Sunday morning I watched a learn and burn that talked about fear. How God does not want us to be fearful creatures. We know that some fear is good because it protects us but to live a life full of fear causes room for regret. We have to let go of fear and trust in God to get us through. I know all this stuff I thought to myself. I really, really do!
Then I went to church service and again it was about fear. What. I thought? Fear is coming up again. Why? Is there something I am fearful of trying to make the decision about this new found job I have? I want to sale Arbonne and make a little profit off of it so I can stay home maybe, you know once we get moved to post. Then I thought long and hard and felt like I was hit by God yet once again. I heard him telling me to let go and let him. I get it, I really do!
I have decided to let go and let him like I know I should. Do you often wonder about letting go and letting God?

ARBONNE

ARBONNE

I am very excited to tell you that my Arbonne has arrived and I made my deliveries today! I am happy to have my new product and to be using it. I received sample packs and lots of literature. I tried this product when Clinique was no longer available at my local Herberger store. I LOVE this product and have used it since. Since then I have tried many more of their products and am pleased with the results. Now I am selling these items and hope to do well bringing a luxury product to many who have been disappointed with their makeup products and health and beauty aids. Tomorrow I am going down to a seminar for Healthy Happy Hour!

I am enjoying myself offering a top quality product for an affordable price! Have you found a product that really shook your life and decided to tell everyone about it?

New Camera

New Camera
Why is it that when I got my new camera I have not been taking lots of pictures? Well, I have left it home many times trying to not break it and have been disappointed. Big mistake because then I don’t get the pictures I want to get. Sad I know, right? So I am going to make it my goal to learn my camera and start feeling confident with it. I would add a few pics right now but have nothing new to add. Sorry guys!

Do you use your camera as often as you would like?
My soldier man and me!

Moving

It has been a long time since I have posted anything. We have had the crazies of packing and moving. I have learned not to put a timer on things (OPSEC) to make all people a little safer. I love my husband my kids and my Dad. Moving is long and draining for all involved. I want everything to be unpacked but yet don’t want to miss the good stuff. After speaking with an old friend I realized that the stuff is worth more than the clean house.
Every day I unpack a little more and sort out the buried belongings that are needed. Every day we continue to unpack. Yes, there still are chores but, mom has been out of work due to building maintenance (poisonous fumes) in the office. Instead of getting mad about dirty socks that may be on the floor because of a certain soldier man she calmly picks them up. Instead of forcing a certain 14 year old to do the dishes she washes them herself. Instead of making the family crazy about helping unpack and getting frustrated about where they put it she puts it away herself. Just as she did with the most of the packing.
Today is the second day back to work for a whole day in 19 days. I miss being home. I miss being mom and house wife. I yearn for the day I can stay home and unpack and clean without getting mad because I have worked all day.
Do you work at home or in an office? Are your kids all in school all day and your husband gone too? Would you rather be staying home and playing mom or just work in an office and come home and Also be mom and servant?
I enjoy one job at a time…

To Catch A Moment

As many have stop by to read and listen it is getting close, time for my soldier to get prepared for leaving. BCT, that used to be something that would smoothly roll off our lips like nothing, BCT. Now it seems like a bad word that has been created and only whispered in our home. As our kids are packing to move to our new house since our home sold (quickly too) we stay and linger a little longer to quietly talk of the things I will be wanting him to know while he is gone and the things he will want me to remember. He will be here many weeks still but with the move and preparing my Dad for his move across three states time seems to fly by being our enemy.

Enemy, that it is a bad taste in my mouth. Enemy is a strong word but in this case that is what time is for us right now. It really hit home when our home sold and now that we are moving to this strange new house with different tricks that need to be learned and different schedules to be made everything is changing so soon. A change that will leave us alone for many months and the growth we will accomplish during this time may be a growth with pain. Half a year to be accurate. I hear of these ladies who have little ones that they need an extra arm for carrying children in and out of their home. A new happiness wipes across my face realizing once again that we have stepped up to the plate as we have been called and I respect and honor my husband for the decision he has made. Our kids are big and may be a helping hand that some mother is going to need at our new town.

My kids whom are 13 and 14 anxiously await our orders to find out all that we can. Again, back to where my husband and I spend a little too much time lingering. We speak of decisions that will have to be made while he is away. Things, memories, and our treasures that will have to be sold while he is gone to prepare for our next move. He gently reminds me to have our boy mow the lawn and our daughter is old enough to help with laundry. What he does not know is those chores help me not think about time. Time doesn’t exist when I am busy.

Photography. I will be enrolled to not one but two of these classes while he is gone and maybe even guitar. I love him and for the first time I can look at us and smile with so much love. His love has been strong and deep lately. Every time he puts his arms around me I feel like something has changed in him. What I do not know. He is being stretched and he is growing into the man God has called him to be. What did your BCT/AIT feel like when your soldier prepared to leave?

Our House Sold

Our House Sold
It was amazing how quickly our house home sold. We had previously had it on the market and not much attention just a few e-mails. Then whammo we put it back on the market since my husband will be leaving soon for BCT. Put it on in the afternoon nine days ago and that night received an interested caller that came by the next day. It took only thirty minutes for them to call and give an offer we couldn’t refuse. We are no longer home owners but now we are renters. We will not be renters for long either though. Soon we will be living in government housing and at one of the Forts.

Yesterday my daughter had to have her wisdom teeth removed and it went poorly for pain. She was in lots of pain and still is. She is also very swollen but unwilling to let me take pictures. Snow, Snow, Snow and more snow. We are supposed to have up to two feet in the pass and only a few inches here in the valley. I am excited to get some beautiful pictures of the snow up hopefully tomorrow!

Is it snowing where you live right now and do you like to take pictures after it snows too?

UPDATE

A note from Tracey Rempel.....
Jerry is, praise God, holding his own. It's
been a long, scary journey. We arrived in California on the Thursday before
Christmas, within twelve hours, Jerry was admitted into a hospital in Lodi, CA
with puenomia. He went into ICU and immediateley put on life support, it was
terrifying!! The infection was so bad, he could not breathe. For the next three
days it was touch and go, but our God is an awesome God and with the prayers of
my friends and many people I don't even know, he seemed to be pulling through.
Then the doctors told me there was nothing else they could do, just like that, I
was so scared. I wasn't ready to lose the love of my life. But.....the doctors
didn't know that my Jesus is the greatest of healers. People from all over the
USA called me to let me know prayers were being said for healing.

I know God will continue to strengthen Jerry and Jesus is holding him in His arms, just
like in the "foot prints" prayer. He is still on life support but all his lab
work is improving. Please keep the prayers coming, there is a light at the end
of the tunnel and Jerry will be healed. I know his testimony will be used to
help others.
Thankyou everyone.
Love
Tracey

Please Everyone! Let's keep lifting them up and praying for them as well as my cousin Dart. He just had surgery for cancer "the evil murderer". We must continue to pray to God that healing is done for these two men. They both are in California right now and let's just concentrate for their healing and full restoration, In Jesus Name!

3 More Days

Three more days, wait a minute that should say four more days. Nope!
It is true for us. We open our gifts on Christmas Eve every year. See Santa is so busy he comes to our house a whole day early. Always has and always will. Even when we have grandchildren it will be the same way. We like it this way maybe you should try it too!
Making fabulous food and playing Christmas music and watching Christmas movies too! We enjoy our time together. We are having a Santa Fe Christmas Dinner. We did traditional Thanksgiving and now it is time for the HOT to bust out! My dad being a National Chili Cook loves to make HOT FOODS! I love Hot Foods and this works well for me.
I am having the in-laws over again and this time they will experience some great New Mexican Food, Yum!
What kind of food do you make for Christmas?

Christmas Gift Blog Exchange

This year was so much fun learning new traditions and meeting and learning about new people!

Brooke from http://themtnmillers.blogspot.com/ was my blogging Christmas exchange buddy and she is great!
She is an amazing musician and you can here a small piece of what she does here.
Talented She Is!

I will treasure these gifts for a lifetime. I hope to tell my kids every year of this and keep these memories in a memory treasure box. Did I mention how much I appreciate this and the great person I have had the joy of learning about. I have learned that she is a Cardinal Fan as well as a beautiful Harp musician who loves to play for her Aunt and that her husband enjoys sitting around listening too =)

I have been truly blessed by getting to know her and Love the gifts she picked for me!

Christmas Decorating

As Promised I bring to all Christmas Decorating! I know now that I have this great camera I should be taking lots more pictures. And I will, but I am having a slow start of things. I hope to get better about adding posts since I do read them everyday. I am bummed out when I check my fellow bloggers pages and see nothing new added.

So since I love to read the new posts I will diligently work harder at posting some of my own. I just love Christmas gifts. I have found some really extraordinary gifts for my new family. I have also came up with a great basket idea for different people too! I have big plans for next Christmas and only wish to have came up with some crafty ideas earlier. I would love to post some of these great gifts but some may actually read these. This was at our local Town Tree Lighting this year. There were many people and we had cocoa and popcorn there.

This is our Tree finally decorated and as my daughter says to RED! The big picture on the tree that is big and white is our first Christmas together as a family (Step Dad Included) from 2009.

It's Been Awhile!

I am so excitged with all the holiday decorating and things that take place in December! I have many new pics to add but usuall don't remember to add a note when I have my camera with me...

I wonder what all of my readers must be doing. I read one of the most fun blogs yesterday. You can find a link Here. This sounds like it would not only be thrifty on the pocket book but fun to do too. I also read about a Faux Fireplace too! There are so many neat things that people come up with and I wonder what talents or crafty ideas you have had?

I thought it may be fun to add some pictures that don't even relate to this post to keep it fun! Hope everyone enjoyed and be sure to leave your comments, Merry Christmas Eveyone!
